God’s Way

Sometimes, God chooses to take us through a long distance when we are on our way to the promise land. He does so to protect, train, test, and promote us. – Victor Akerele

When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, ‘If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.’ So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea” (Exodus 13:17-18 NIV).

Obedience

Obedience and a life of integrity attract favour from God. He protects the faithful; answers prayers; and does not allow for ridicule. If you pay the price of obedience, you will be abundantly rewarded. It turns negative verdict in one’s favour.

” “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully with integrity of heart and uprightness, as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws, will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father when I said, ’You shall never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’ (1 Kings 9:4-5)

Father, please grant me a heart that will continuously obey you forever.

True Test of Friendship

The true test of relationship is not only how loyal we are when friends fail, but how trilled we are when they succeed. – John C. Maxwell

“As they danced, they sang: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands.’ Saul was very angry; this refrain galled him. ‘They have credited David with tens of thousands,’ he thought, ‘but me with only thousands. What more can he get but the kingdom?’ And from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David” 1 Samuel 18:7-9 NIV

Great Leader

Great leaders seek to serve; they do not seek to enrich themselves. In service lies honour, long life, wealth, fulfilment and joy.
As a Christian, you must seek for means to be a blessing today rather than opportunities to defraud others or take advantage of them.

“So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (1 Kings 3:9)

Purity in Heart

Purity and simplicity are the two wings with which man soars above the earth and all temporary nature. Simplicity is in the intention, purity in the affection; simplicity turns to God; purity unites with and enjoys him.” Thomas a Kempis

His Grace is Sufficient

When life is at its lowest ebb, we are not without hope because of the wonderful grace of God. – David McCasland

“Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NKJV).

Patience is a Virtue

Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better to take things as they come along with patience and equanimity. – Carl Jung

Importance of Forgiveness

It is expedient for us as Christians to forgive if and when someone offends us. The way to peace, joy and long life is forgiveness. It may appear a hard pill to swallow but that is the truth.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgive you” Colossians 3:13, NIV

Anytime you forgive, you are saying to your body, soul and spirit: “I love you”. When you harbor an unforgiving spirit in your heart, you automatically damage and destroy your relationship with man and God.
Unforgiveness can lead you to early grave and hell. Ask God to give you the grace to forgive everyone that has offended.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will” Romans 12:1-2 NIV

Jesus The Senior Advocate

It is true we struggle daily with sin and our adversary breaths punishment down our neck. Often, we are bothered by accusations from Satan. But we have an advocate in Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

” My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father —Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (1 John 2:1)

Soul Winning

No one is excluded from the Father’s salvation plan. We also are in the Master’s plan to bear the message to all the nooks and crannies of the world.    he says: “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

WHO KILLED SAMSON?

–Delilah or the Philistines?

–None of these options is correct.

–Permit me to tell you how

–Even if there were 10,000 Philistine soldiers, they couldn’t have defeated Samson.

–Do you know why? Samson’s strength was not of this world; it was divine.

–As long as no one can defeat GOD, no army could have defeated Samson no matter how strong or many

–Samson was raised a terror for the Philistines. He killed a lion with his bare hands, lifted the gate of a city on his shoulder and walked over 46 miles; he killed 300 Philistines soldiers with a jaw bone. What if he got a spear or sword?

–So, who killed Samson?

The answer is Samson.

–Yes! Samson killed himself!

◆A man is his greatest enemy.

◆What an enemy cannot do to a man, he would do to himself.

◆Samson killed himself.

◆He delivered himself to the lap of Delilah and used his own mouth to tell the secret of his power.

–His life promised so much but delivered so little

–The Bible says:-
Proverbs 19:3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord .

–Nobody can ruin your life except you do with your own hands.

–Although you can blame it on GOD or parents or government, you’re the architect of your life; you are your greatest enemy.

–Even if your grandparents had done any evil, until you press the trigger it won’t explode on your face

–No Satan or witch has the power to destroy you no matter how much they hate you, you’re the only one who can kill yourself by your actions

–When the enemies try in vain to kill you, they lie in wait and allow you to kill yourself by your actions.

》》Goliath, the champion couldn’t hurt David but adultery destroyed his family.

》》The gentile nations couldn’t hurt Moses, but anger killed him.

》》 When king Jeroboam stretched his hand against the prophet, his hand dried up; he couldn’t hurt him, but his own disobedience turned him to a prey for a lion.

–Your greatest enemy isn’t outside there, it’s in you.

◆Millions are killing themselves with their own mouth by what they eat and drink.

◆Millions die of sexually transmitted diseases every year, would you blame a witch for that?

◆Hundreds of thousands of divorce and breakup happen every year because people destroy their own marriages and homes with their own hands.

–Like Proverbs 14:1 says “Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.

–If you fail, don’t look far away, look inwards because what’s killing you is inside of you.

–What you yield yourself to will either kill or save you. If you continue yielding yourself to fornication, that’s what will kill you both SPIRITUALLY or PHYSICALLY

–Everyone has a seed of sin deposited in him through his Adamic nature.

》》True repentance kills that seed but if you don’t kill that Anger, Pride, Jealousy, Greed, Lust, it won’t just kill you in the future, it might have been killing you already.

》》That’s why no matter how much people die of cancer and diabetics people won’t stop smoking and drinking because a man signs his own death warrant

◆Kill that seed before it kills you.

◆Quit that habit, now!

Because your greatest enemy isn’t a Man or a Spirit or Satan but YOU.
YES, YOU!

I PRAY FOR THE GRACE OF GOD TO HOLD YOU & ME TILL THE VERY END IJN

You are Uniquely Made

You are one person before God who can never have a perfect replacement. You are also a fulfilment of prophecy. There are no coincidences in our lives for all things are ordered by God according to His plan and purpose, just walk in obedience to His Word.

You alone created my inner being. You knitted me together inside my mother. I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this. (Psalm 139:13-14)

Lord, let my uniqueness be manifested in its due time as you designed it.

SIGNS OF IMMATURITY IN MARRIAGE FOR MEN:1. Rejecting food when there’s an issue:Mr husband, you gave your wife money forfood and after it was prepared you refusedto eat because you are angry. It’s one of the greatest signs of immaturity, it’s time to grow up! You should not even abandon your home for any reason. You could go somewhere when angry but ensure that you don’t allow it to linger unnecessarily because that is enough for the devil to build on even though some women can be really troublesome.2. Telling your wife severally that you are the head: May I let you know that even when your wife disobeys/ disrespect you she still knows that you are the head. You need not shout or scream it daily. Or do we need to get you a slot on CNN? It’s important for you to know when and how to be firm and put your feet down over issues, however don’t become a nagging husband just to prove that you are the head.3. Issuing threats: beating, verbally abusingyour wife, issuing threats of divorce orbragging about marrying another wife doesnot make you a man. An EMPTY barrel makes the loudest noise. Your strength is in your ability to tame your tongue and control your fist. When she is acting her “childish woman” part, play the “matured man.”4. Reporting your wife to friends and family: When your wife offends you, correctand talk things through. You don’t have to tell everyone about her mistakes, that will paint her black and sell her cheap such that you will not be able to redeem her back.By the way, are you a reporter answer my question ?5. Keeping malice: is it not funny to know that some men keep malice? Some of them even nag, criticise, abuse and call their wives names in public. It may make you look like a “big boy” who’s in control but you are not going to gain anything good from it, your home will only be a den of insults and confrontations.6. Not helping with house chores: I must say here that it is the sole responsibility of a woman to tend and manage a home when she chooses to be a full time house wife. However, it’s not a bad thing if a man lends a helping hand when necessary. Watching football with newspaper in your hand every evening, not caring how stressful the house chores are will only increase the pressure on your wife and if you truly care you’ll help, just checking on her while busy could encourage and sooth her, this also makes you a good example to the kids especially the boys. Some men don’t even say “thank You” to their wives after eating, all they do is compare her with other women. It’s a shame that after having 3-4 kids some men cannot change a simple diaper orprepare cereal meals; a big shame. My point?A REAL man is a pillar of support to his wife, not a hole of depression.

BE AN ELEPHANT

Words of wisdom

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies

Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on, it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued

On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, “Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant.

Whats going on?” The elephant replied, “There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it.

When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I’m carrying is mighty and great.” Don’t lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers Affirmations.

Don’t be envious of others. If you haven’t received your own blessings, don’t despair. What you carry is being processed, prepared and packaged for a greater impact. Say to yourself “My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration.

May you give birth to children that will become world leaders.

Give Thanks Without Limit

Contemporary Christians know how to pray hard; fast for days and weep when God has not answered their prayers. But when the Lord answers, they rarely give thanks. Some give thanks briefly and begin to present other requests. This is why we have several prayer centres rather than thanksgiving centres today.

Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the LORD.” (1 Chronicles 16:36)

When you live a life of praise, God’s mercy will triumph over judgment concerning you. You enjoy God better when you learn to praise Him than when you render only requests.

John Harper knew what it meant to live life with urgency.

The night the Titanic sank in 1912 on April 14th, 1,528 people went into the frigid waters. John Harper, after putting his only daughter on a lifeboat, was seen swimming frantically to people in the water leading them to Jesus before the hypothermia became fatal. Rev. Harper swam up to one young man who had climbed up on a piece of debris. Rev. Harper asked him between breaths, “Are you saved?” The young man replied that he was not.

Harper then tried to lead him to Christ only to have the young man who was near shock, reply no. John Harper then took off his life jacket and threw it to the man and said “Here then, you need this more than I do…” and swam away to other people. A few minutes later Harper swam back to the young man and succeeded in leading him to salvation. Of the 1,528 people that went into the water that night, six were rescued by the lifeboats. One of them was this young man on the debris. Four years later, at a survivors meeting, this young man stood up and in tears recounted how John Harper had led him to Christ. Rev. Harper had tried to swim back to help other people, yet because of the intense cold, had grown too weak to swim. His last words before going under in the frigid waters were “Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” Does Hollywood remember this man? No. Oh well, no matter. This servant of God did what he had to do. While other people were trying to buy their way onto the lifeboats and were selfishly trying to save their own lives, John Harper gave up his life so that others could be saved.

Nothing in this life and nothing in death can separate a believer from God’s love. Whether we live or die, we are in His love. Jesus won’t ever let us go. Nothing in our present experience, or anything to come, can separate us from God’s love in Christ.

Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 NIV

Let the proud stop and reverence God who made him/her what he/she is today. Let everyone with power bow before the Most High and the Most Powerful.

“ “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:2

Are you barren, spiritually or physically? The Word of God is giving you victory over your situation today. You too will extol the name of the Lord if you can trust only Him for your victory.

Nothing is Impossible for God to do

With God all things are possible

God specialises in turning impossible situations around. This is what He did in the case of Sarah who was barren. She and her husband had advanced in age at the time they entertained angels as visitors and through that, God visited them.

“So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, ‘After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?’ Genesis 18:12 NIV

It can never be over until it is over. Age or other human limitations can never constrain God from doing what He is set to do. You shall indeed have that joy, your age notwithstanding.

A Transformed Mind

We must not conform to the standard of this world. Whatever we do that agrees with the pattern of this world is a compromise and conformity.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship” Romans 12:1

Are you still conforming to the standard of this world or you are daily seeking to be transformed through the renewal of your mind? Present your body now as a living sacrifice to God that your service to Him may be reasonable and acceptable.

Blessing

May the Lord bless you and preserve you and your loved ones, may you never run out of God’s grace and mercy as you go this week and beyond in Jesus mighty name. Have a beautiful week!

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE HOTEL.

PATIENCE: A LESSON OF LIFE.
By BISHOP DAVID ABIOYE .

I walked into a hotel and after going through the menu, I ordered some food.

After about 20 mins a group of guys and ladies walked in & ordered theirs.

To my dismay, these folks got served first. I watched as they began to eat & laugh heartily.

I even overheard one of them bragging about how connected he is to everyone in the hotel and I felt mocked.

I decided to leave. Unable to take it anymore , I called the waiter. He calmly told me: “Yours is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself.

Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachment because the top chefs are busy with yours Sir. That’s why they were served first. Please have some juice as you wait”. I calmed down & waited patiently.

Shortly after, my meal was served by 6 waiters. Unknown to me, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of mine) saw me when I entered and decided to surprise me.

She changed my simple meal to a five-star meal. The party at the other table were shocked.

They couldn’t stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn’t get that kind of service and meal.

Such is life! Some people are ahead of you and are eating now, laughing at you and talking about how they are smarter, wiser and better than you, how they are well connected, blessed, have money and are enjoying life .

You are waiting tirelessly wondering why it’s taking so long to breakthrough, You endure mockery and humiliation.

Maybe you have contemplated suicide, gone throughout depression or suffered severe mental anxiety.

Do not worry! The owner of the world has seen you and doesn’t want you to be served a simple meal like those making a mockery of you. You’re waiting long because yours is a special meal.

It takes time to prepare. And only chief chefs prepare them.

Wait for your meal and relax .!!!

Pray for Someone

When you pray for anyone, you tend to modify your personal attitude toward them. – Norman Vincent Peale

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:43-45 NIV

Have a list of friends to pray for this week and ensure you sow into their lives with your genuine heart.

Show Others Mercy

Who ever show mercy shall receive mercy

We must never close the door of mercy to others because it means we are closing the door on our own lives. No matter the number of God’s law we keep, showing mercy to others is our own license to receiving mercy from God.

“There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you” James 2:13, NLT

Remember that all of us are merely recipients of God’s favour. Learn to show mercy even when people do not deserve it.

Trust God Wholeheartedly

With God on your side, you will conquer

Do not try to survive using your own methods. Trust in God — and what He tells you — and discover just how big He is. – Author Unknown

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes…” Proverbs 3:5-7 NIV

Ask for the grace to trust God wholeheartedly and the grace never to depend on your own ability

Do It Right

Do the right thing, and keep doing it. Even if it does not help you move ahead in the short-term, it will protect and serve you well over the long-term. – Bob Gass

.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” Galatians 6:9 NKJV

God Removes Disgrace

Sometimes, we go through challenging and overwhelming situations. The devil may sometimes use our need to discourage us and make us feel like God does not care. No matter what we go through, God always makes a way.

“She became pregnant and gave birth to a son, ‘God has removed my disgrace’, she said” Genesis 30:23 NLT

Are you being humiliated by the situations around you? Do not worry; God is on your side. Do not be distracted. Let your focus be on God and you will not be disappointed.

Avoid Ungodly Relationships

Whether you are a man or woman, married or single, you must match out for ungodly relationships or those with the potential to turn into such, with members of the opposite sex. May the Lord help you as you do so. @Pastor E.A. Adeboye

“Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:” Proverbs 5:7-9

Ask God to separate you from every ungodly relationships today.

God is Watching

God watches all our secret behaviours

God sees beyond what the human eye can see. Perhaps you are thinking that when you are in a secret place no one can know what you do. You may even feel that when you do evil to those who are helpless no one will discover. Be reminded today that this is not true. There is someone who sees everything, everywhere, every time.

“If you mistreat my daughters or if you marry other wives, God will see it even if no one else does. He is a witness to this covenant between us” (Genesis 31:50).

God sees and knows. Be careful how you live your life.

Powerful Blessing for the Week

Any power or anyone that has vowed you will not be all God has ordained you to be this week and beyond are terminated for you sake in Jesus name. Anyone that has said about you over my dead body let it be to them according to their words in Jesus name. You will fulfill destiny, the Lord will make a way and your testimony shall be evidence in Jesus mighty name. Have a victorious week!

God Reigns

I have lived a long time, sir, and the longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. Benjamin Franklin

How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth! Psalm 47:2 NIV

Is the Lord truly the Lord of your life? If yes, you have a responsibility of giving Him praise always. However, if no, give Him a chance today. Allow God to assume His position as the King over your life so that you can enjoy His reign.

God’s Plans

Sometimes our plans are not the plans of God. Hence, it is pertinent to structure our steps every time in alliance with God’s plans. – Anonymous

My thoughts,’ says the Lord, ‘are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thoughts above yours” Isaiah 55:8-9 TEV

Good Sees Your Challenges

He understands all your pains

God sees the hurt in your heart like nobody else can. He knows the sources, reasons and experiences that brought you to this point. He understands what you are passing through. God knows your frustrations and despair.

So Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, ‘The LORD has noticed my misery, and now my husband will love me’” Genesis 29:32 NLT

In the midst of sadness and uncertainty, His hand is there to guide you; His strength is there to support you. You are never out of His reach. As God favoured Leah, you can count on His love and His help. Hold on to Him.

Opposition

Oppositions sharpen us and make us stronger

Have you thought of giving up on your faith and career because of oppositions? God can use the series of oppositions around your life today as your stepping-stones to success. Oppositions sharpen us and make us stronger in the faith, especially if we are able to scale through without wavering.

Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called) —Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia —who began to argue with Stephen.  (Acts 6:9 NIV).

Lord, help me to have the right perspective towards opposition.

Every opposition presents either the option to give up or an opportunity to try harder and get better depending on our disposition. Opposition can be a major motivating factor for life’s success and no one with a great destiny is absolutely immune to it.

Praise God Always

No matter the conditions of life, we must praise Him More so when we know that God is in control, we must always praise Him.

Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them. (Isaiah 42:10 NIV).

Forget about your situation and develop the habit of praising God as your new approach to problems of life. You are to challenge your challenges with praise and fear the Lord.

Arise and shine

Be strong all you people still left in the land
My Spirit is with you, so be confident
Everything will tremble but you will remain
And I will fill my temple with the latter rain

The future glory of this house
Will be greater than the past
As I shake heaven and earth alike
Just as my prophets prophesied
The faith of many will be tried
But I will cause my remnant to

Arise and shine
For His glory has risen upon you
Arise and shine
For His glory has risen upon you

Do not be afraid, says the Great I Am
Stand firm, says the Rock of Your Salvation
On the other side of the shaking that I do
I’m sending revival and a blessing over you
For just as earth began to quake
When the stone was rolled away
And the Son of Man walked out that grave
Dry bones are coming back to life
And we will see before our eyes
The Holy Church of Jesus Christ

As the dark is getting darker
His light is shining brighter
Revealing sons and daughters
And awakening His church
As the dark is getting darker
His light is shining brighter
Revealing sons and daughters
And awakening His church
As the dark is getting darker
His light is shining brighter
Revealing sons and daughters
And awakening His church

Arise and shine
For His glory has risen upon you
Arise and shine
For His glory has risen upon you

We the remnant will not be shaken
We the remnant will not be shaken
We’re the remnant standing firm
We the remnant will not be shaken
We the remnant will not be shaken
We’re the remnant standing firm
We the remnant will not be shaken
We the remnant will not be shaken
We’re the remnant standing firm

A New Beginning for you

Bear today cheerfully whatever today may bring, it is the only way to make tomorrow certain. – Lord Tenny

Pray with Thanksgiving

For our prayer to be answered, we should pray with a sincere heart of thanksgiving and an upright heart

Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld His love from me! (Psalm 66:20, NIV).

Sincere praise pleases God and makes Him act on our behalf. Make praise part of your lifestyle and you will be glad you did!

Courageous Christian

Courageous man is a champion

When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way. @Paulo Coelho

You tried to harm me, but God made it turn out for the best, so that he could save all these people, as he is now doing” @Genesis 50:20 CEV

Never be discouraged by the present state of your life, you are a work-in-progress. Ask God to show you the way to go

Sufficient Grace

We do what we do only because of God’s grace, and that grace is given so that we might do what is pleasing to him. – Timothy Keller

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NKJV).

May the grace of God be sufficient for you.

Be Thankful

True thankfulness is more than being grateful for what we possess. It is an attitude that fills our relationship with God so that we may serve Him with gladness and joy. – David C. McCasland

Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise?” (Psalm 106:1-2 NIV).

Develop a habit of praising God daily and at all times today

Stronger in Tough Times

We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.” –Chuck Swindoll

Beloved,do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.(1 Peter 4:12-13)

Tough times build Christian character and faith.

Keep Pushing

It’s ok to fail. Failing does not shape your personality; it’s how you react upon your failure. Do you dust yourself off and mope or do you dust yourself off and come back stronger the next time? Eventually you will win. It may not happen the next time, it may take a little time but you will win in the end.Tiger Woods

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
(2chronicles 15:7)

Don’t ever give up, always keep your composure, you will come out victorious.

Weekly Blessing

The LORD will send you help from His throne, He will answer your prayer with speed and accuracy, He will remember all your offerings, and regard with favour your efforts! He will grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfil all your plans! People will shout for joy over your victory in Jesus’ name. Have a victorious week.

Desist from Lying

God hates a lying tongue. Where did we learn to lie? Isn’t it strange that children lie instinctively without being taught? The flagrant sins of fraud, embezzlement, slander, libel and breach of promise are the products of a lying heart. Billy Graham

“Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.(Psalm 34:12-13)

Ask the Lord to help you keep your tongue from lying and the grace to live a holy life.

The Price of the Cross

Salvation is through Jesus Christ our Lord, He  took away our sin and reproach, He bled for us on the cross to pay the ultimate price

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

Jesus died to save us and rose to give us eternal life, Hallelujah.

The Lord Fights for His People

God is still in the business of fighting your enemies, don’t give up yet on God, He knows what you are going through and He is right there with you.

“For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. (Deuteronomy 20:4)

God is there with you, all you need to do is to live to please Him. He will fight for you.

Why Must I Forgive?

Forgiveness beings peace to the soul

As long as you do not forgive, who and whatever it is will occupy rent-free space in your mind. – Isabelle Holland

” Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13 NIV).

Determine to forgive all who have wronged you today, forgiveness is a medicine to the soul of a believer.

Accessing God’s Throne of Mercy

Bear up the hands that hang down, by faith and prayer; support the tottering knees. Have you any days of fasting and prayer? Storm the throne of grace and perspire there on, and mercy will come down – John Wesley

” Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16, KJV)

He is always available to wipe every tear away from His children. Go to Him now and you will not forget the experience all your life.

False Altar

Whatever takes the place of God in your life is a false altar. Do you pretend to be worshiping God and yet you find it comfortable to tell lies, get involved in fornication and adultery? Do you have sinful friends you still relate with, comfortably? Is there anything that still pushes you to sin? These are false altars.

” In the morning when the people of the town got up, there was Baal’s altar, demolished, with the Asherah pole beside it cut down and the second bull sacrificed on the newly built altar!  Judges 6:28

It is always difficult to handle them with human strength. Ask God to help you and deliver you, you will find strength in Jesus’ name to pull down those altars.

True Altar

The best and true altar you can build for the Lord is your life. He is not interested in any other. God desires to dwell in your life. So, the quality of your life should attract people to God. Your speech, your conduct, the way you dress, your relationship with other people should make people to recognise whom you serve.

“That is why we said, ’Let us get ready and build an altar —but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices.’  (Joshua 22:26 NIV)

Every genuine child of God is a mobile altar of the Lord; a carrier of God’s presence. And, the more you seek to worship God in spirit and in truth, the more your life would reflect His glory.

Constant Worship

God uses worship to recenter our priorities and reestablish where our security lies. We can be taught why it’s important to praise and glorify God, but until it’s a regular part of our lives, we’ll never understand how God is using it to keep us focused.

We proclaim how great you are
and tell of the wonderful things you have done. (Psalm 75:1)

The Christian breathes in God’s goodness and exhales worship.

Monthly Blessing

May the Lord bless you beyond measure, may the God of double-grace plus visit you this month, your heavens shall be opened in the name of Jesus, all you have lost shall be restored seven folds in Jesus’ name. Sorrow, sickness, calamity and death shall be far away from your home in the mighty name of Jesus.
You shall be celebrated in Jesus’ name

Happy New Month!

God’s Approval

Are you a God’s Choice?

God has sovereign right to dispose of us as He pleases. We ought to acquiesce in all that God does with us and to us. – William Carey.

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? (Psalm 24:3, NKJV).

Reflect on your life; can it get God’s approval? Are you a blessing to your generation or a curse? You can be set apart to receive God’s blessing if you put your hands and heart in order.

Be God’s Approval

Holy Ground

Make your ground holy

God is not limited to a place; He can be encountered anywhere. Wherever God is present and abides is holy. You too may be standing on a holy ground right now, what are those shoes you think God would want you to get rid of? You cannot be a sinner and expect the Holy Spirit to indwell you.

Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. (Exodus 3:5, NKJV).

Would you respond to Him now by repenting of your sins and dedicating your life to His service? That is the only way you can be accepted before Him.

No Condemnation in Christ

By His death He destroyed the power of death on our behalf so that all who accept Him as Lord and Saviour will be free from the fear of death. Since Christ has won the battle for you, you need not fear Satan anymore.

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death – that is, the devil -”. (Hebrews 2:14)

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Are you in Christ?

It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.

A Generation of Young Christians

1. We are always right and we never accept correction. A corrector is seen as an enemy._

2. We love to sing in Church, but do not read our Bible at home.

3. We are full of lust, sensuality and emotionsand we call it love.

4.We want to have wonderful marriages, but by the time we are 25 years we’ve already spent almost ten years in relationships. Sometimes, we may have had more boy lovers and girl lovers than even our parents.

5.Sexual activities are now part of our relationships calling it romance.

6. We want to be rich in life, meanwhile, we spend all our finances on the latest ipads, iphone, laptops, cameras, smartphones, etc, which in many cases we uses less than 30% of their functions.

7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings claiming we are students.

8. We say we are Christian men & women but dress like hollywood stars and we call it fashion.

9. We love pleasures rather than God.

10. In Church you will see us with our hands lifted up singing slow songs which we call worship but on our phones in our pockets, you will see pics of naked and half naked women, hip hop, Antichrist, etc and we have a nice way of justifying it.

11. We are hardly convicted when we go to Church because our hearts have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and pride.

But God foresaw these and warned us in (2 Timothy 3) That In the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

We need to change our ways, we have no excuse on judgement day. You can forward if u want to. But I know u wouldn’t  because is not funny. _share Jesus today to save yourself and the world at Large_BIBLICAL TRUTH
