A Generation of Young Christians

6. We want to be rich in life, meanwhile, we spend all our finances on the latest ipads, iphone, laptops, cameras, smartphones, etc,which in many cases we uses less than 30% of their functions.

7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings claiming we are students.

8. We say we are Christian men & women but dress like hollywood stars and we call it fashion.

9. We love pleasures rather than God.

10. In Church you will see us with our hands lifted up singing slow songs which we call worship but on our phones in our pockets, you will see pics of naked and half naked women, hip hop, Antichrist, etc and we have a nice way of justifying it.

11. We are hardly convicted when we go to Church because our hearts have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and pride.

But God foresaw these and warned us in (2 Timothy 3) That In the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

The Steadfast Love of God

Exercising kindness, justice and righteousness to others is the pleasure we give to God as His creature. Encourage someone today by showing him/her the love of God.

Confession


When we confess our sins to God, we are agreeing with God that we were wrong, that we have sinned. God forgives us, through confession, on an ongoing basis because of the fact that He is “faithful and just.” How is God “faithful and just”? He is faithful by forgiving sins, which He has promised to do for all those who receive Christ as Savior. He is just by applying Christ’s payment for our sins, recognizing that the sins have indeed been atoned for. John Owen


If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 ESV)


All of our sins are forgiven “positionally” the moment we receive Christ as Savior. This positional forgiveness guarantees our salvation and promise of an eternal home in heaven.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUP OF HATRED COST?!!!

I never knew it was that costly.
I wanted to know the cost of HATRED, so I decided to branch to a shop where it’s being sold.
As a good businessman who was looking for a buyer, the sales man rushed out to ask what I wanted.
I told him I wanted just a cup of hatred, and then he smiled and asked if I can afford it.
‘How much does a cup cost?’ I asked?! Hmmmmm! He took in a deep breath, then started:

👉🏼 It will first of all take away your inner peace.
👉🏼 It will cost you incurable worries.
👉🏼 It will eat up your heart.
👉🏼 You will be deeply bitter whenever you set your eyes on the person you hate.
👉🏼 When others are celebrating him or her, you will always be looking for why he or she doesn’t deserve it.
👉🏼 You will become so weak and tired of seeing the person.
👉🏼 Whenever he or she laughs, you will cry.
👉🏼 While others are busy planning their future, you will be busy looking for how to pull him or her down.
👉🏼 The Spirit of God will leave you and you will become the temple of devils where demons reside.
👉🏼 You will begin to have different health issues like High blood pressure, diabetics, stroke, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, etc, as long as you drink from the cup of hatred, bitterness, grudge, unforgiveness, malice, Anger, Jealousy, envy, resentment. Worse still, prayers or drugs cannot help much because you have disobeyed the natural and supernatural laws.
👉🏼 You will die before your time and go to hell.

The seller was still counting what a cup of hatred will cost me, when I shunned him, realizing how EXPENSIVE hatred is.
I left because I knew deep down I could not afford it.
I refuse to pay such a huge amount when I can LOVE so easily and cheaply.

Brethren, don’t allow anybody to take away your joy and sell or give you hatred.
Avoid gossips, bitterness, anger, etc because a lot of times, it is what you hear about somebody that breeds hatred.
Don’t die before your time.
Stay safe.

Life is a circle of CONTRIBUTION

I contribute.
You contribute.
We contribute.

When any party ceases to contribute, the circle will be broken and leakages will be discovered.

Whatever you are enjoying today is someone else’s contribution.

Whatever you are lacking today is because someone who is suppose to contribute didn’t.

Don’t be that person, who because he refuses to contribute, causes leakages to the circle.
Every person on earth is here to contribute to make the world a better place.

Contribution is the essence of living.
You can contribute anything useful.
*You can contribute in knowledge, in understanding, *in wisdom, in love, in peace, in resources, and in finances.*
Also, You can contribute physically, spiritually, intellectually, financially, morally etc.

When you contribute, people will eat, when people contribute you will eat.

Ask yourself:

What is my contribution in that place that I am?
What have you contributed to make progress?
What is lacking as a result of your refusal to contribute?
What is the way forward?
The answer explains the scarcity or abundance in that place.
Your presence is irrelevant if you have nothing to contribute.

In the organisation that you are, contribute.
In the school, contribute.
In the house, contribute.
In the office, contribute.
In the team, contribute.
In the training , contribute
In the community, contribute.
In the family, contribute…
In your street, contribute.
Everywhere try and contribute…

Running With Purpose

There are many people that run the race just because it is something to do.

Give Right



Many people give with a wrong motive! They give because of what they want to get. What God always looks for is the motive and attitude behind the act.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38 KJV)


In whatever you do, always seek to please God with your resources. You can be sure that He cannot rob you.

Steps to Peace with God

1) God’s Purpose…Peace and Life

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life — forever.

The Bible says:

Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace with God (Romans 5:1)

God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die (John 3:16).

Jesus said:

“I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest” (John 10:10).

Since God planned for us to have peace and real life right now, why are so many people hurting or angry inside?

2) Our Problem…Separation From God

God created us in His own image so we can know Him personally and have a joy-filled life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and a freedom of choice. Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God and ends in misery.

The Bible says:

All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness (Romans 3:23).

The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

The Bible says that disobeying God results in being separated from Him.

Our attempts can never unite us with God. Through the ages, people have tried many ways to bridge this gap and reach God — without success.

The Bible says:

Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die (Romans 5:12).

You may think you are on the right road and still end up dead (Proverbs 14:12).

There is only one way to reach God.

3) God’s Remedy…The Cross

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. He died on the Cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and people.

The Bible says:

There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God (1 Timothy 2:5).

Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God (1 Peter 3:18).

But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful (Romans 5:8).

God has provided the only way — we must make the choice.

4) Our Response…Give Ourselves to Christ

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and determine to obey Him for the rest of our lives. That way we can know God and find peace again.

The Bible says:

So you will be saved, if you honestly say, Jesus is Lord, and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this (Romans 10:9-10).

Is there any good reason why you cannot turn your life over to Jesus Christ right now?

How to give your life to Christ:

Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness.

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

Through prayer, confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him for the rest of your life.

Avoid Double Standard


We cannot be called children of God yet be comfortable telling some white lies. We cannot twist the truth in any matter and claim it is God’s favour and wisdom given to us.


And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:20|KJV)


Do not live a double standard life. Be truthful as the Lord God that called you to salvation is.

Safe in God’s hand

It is true that no person achieves perfection on this earth. However, there is no such thing as a genuine believer sitting still after he has been saved. A believer must not become comfortable, complacent, lethargic, lazy or begin to think that he is safe and secure forever; therefore, he can sometimes do what he likes and give in to his own desires.

“I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14, NIV).


Are you still keeping your eyes on the goal? Are you still pressing on in Christ?

The Plan of God for me

God has thoughts and plans of welfare, peace, goodwill and hope for His people in every generation. When we go through difficult times and situations we are likely to conclude that we have been forgotten by God. We may think we do not count or matter to Him. We may even be so troubled to conclude that God does not see.

For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plan to give you hope and a future,” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV )


As the LORD saw the plights of His children in Egypt and worked out their restoration, He will restore you also today in Jesus’name.

God’s Promises


God’s cheque does not bounce. His bank is ever buoyant. When God makes a promise, He will deliver.

If there are calamities of any kind in the world, you need not fear because God has sworn to keep you safe always. Be encouraged!

Only God

The enemy of your soul cannot say anything over your life and it would come to pass if the Lord has not allowed it. You must be at peace because that enemy does not have the final say over your matter.

The Lord God is on your side. He will fight for you today and forever. All you need to do is to hold your peace and you will see the salvation of the Lord.

Salvation in Jesus Alone

Salvation cannot be earned through efforts and works; rather it is given freely by Jesus. It is only by entering through Jesus, the true Gate that we can experience and enjoy salvation, safety and satisfaction.

Dwelling in Christ

As God’s temple, His habitation through the Spirit, He beckons us to glorify Him in our mortal bodies and our endeavours. God cannot dwell in dirty hearts or bodies.


And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God fives by His Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22. NIV )


If God is building us, it is because He wants to make us fit for His purpose. We can allow God to complete His work in our lives as ‘a due above sins and promote a life of righteousness.

Your Responsibilities to Your Leaders

A Christian learns how to encourage and support leadership.

I. What is a leader?
A. If we as women are to be suitable helpers, we need to understand leadership.
B. Oxford Dictionary’s definition #1: “the person who leads, commands or precedes a group, organization, or country.”
C. Hebrew: nagiyd (naw-gheed) or nagid {naw-gheed’}; from 5046; a commander (as occupying the front), civil, military or religious; generally (abstractly, plural), honorable themes:–captain, chief, excellent thing, (chief) governor, leader, noble, prince, (chief) ruler.

II. Who has the right to choose who will be leaders?
A. Gen.1:27,28 Leadership is created by God, given dominion (rule over).
B. Psa 139:14 We are created by God, fearfully and wonderfully made. We are to recognize God’s power and give God the reverence and honour due Him.
C. The creator has the right to command how the created should work. God gave leadership to man. This is God’s choice. Woman was made FOR the man, as a suitable helper. This is God’s choice also. They are God-given roles. These roles do not change from situation to situation.
D. From the time of Eve, both men and women have fought against these roles. Today is no different. We, as men and women, are STILL fighting, but the roles have NOT changed in God’s eyes.

III. What areas of life require a leader?
A. Home – husband, father (the mother’s authority under the umbrella of the husband)
B. Church – men, elders.

  1. There is no command, example or inference that women were ever given leadership in the church.
  2. Ladies, be on guard!
    C. Society – men as leaders in government, work situations outside our homes.
    D. Think about these facts in considering the role of leadership in ALL areas of life:
  3. God made man first (Gen.2)
  4. Woman created from the man
  5. Woman created for man
  6. God addressed Adam when Adam and Eve sinned (Gen.3)
  7. Paul reviewed the roles in 1 Cor.11:3-9 and 1 Tim.2:12-13
  8. These roles were NOT established as punishment.
  9. A question: What happens to roles when a woman is a manager over men? What happens when everyone goes home?
    E. In all three areas, good or bad, leadership will impact generations to come.

IV. What is a leader responsible for?
A. Notice what is said of the ultimate leader: Isa 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him. 11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.
B. God fulfills the meaning of leadership – meekness: strength under control.
C. What do we ask and expect of God’s leadership?

  1. Psa.26:2; 139:23 – We want God to know all about us.
  2. Psa.5:8 – We want God to lead us in righteousness, to make the path straight.
  3. Psa.25:5 – We want God to teach us.
  4. Psa.61:2 – We want God to lead us to the rock that is higher than ourselves.
  5. Psa.139:10 – We want God to hold us safe.
  6. Prov.3:11; Heb.12:6 – God, as our leader, also has the right to discipline us.

D. A leader approved by God should do no less.

  1. He should know whom he leads (husbands, 1 Pet.3:7).
  2. He should lead with a righteousness life.
  3. He should lead us on the straight path.
  4. He should lead by teaching.
  5. He should lead by encouraging a higher level in goals.
  6. He should support the weak.
  7. He should discipline in love (fathers, Deut.8:5)

V. What “tools” does the man have to work with?
A. Men have a different makeup than women. They reason more logically, and are able to totally focus on a problem/goal. They are also physically stronger. (These strengths are generally true.)
B. God gives them confidence in their right to lead.
C. God gave men suitable helpers (Gen.2:18); followers who are to encourage and support the leaders.

  1. They too have qualities that support their role: nurturing, relationship oriented, “6th sense” (awareness), etc.
  2. A suitable helper is one who understands what God expects of men and can therefore effectively support their leadership.

VI. What does support mean?
A. Oxford Dictionary’s definition #2: “to give assistance, encouragement or approval to, therefore to be actively interested in.”
B. How does the apostle Peter describe what GOD expects in a suitable helper? 1Pe 3:4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
C. Consider these words which describe different ways we support and encourage our menfolk:

  1. We will accept our God-given role of “suitable helper.”
  2. We will honour, love and respect our men as leaders. Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord” (1 Pet.3:6).
  3. We are their backup. When decisions are made our men KNOW we are there for them when they need to delegate responsibilities.
  4. We will follow through whatever task we are assigned.
  5. We will give aid. This involves our physical efforts, our wisdom, our love, our respect.
    a. What if we disagree with a decision??
    (1) This situation does not give the helper the right to take control.
    (2) Make suggestions. Don’t “tell” the leader what may be a wiser way to go.
    (3) When time allows, let the decision “ride” until the man begins to think more clearly and take ownership.
  6. We will make sure our help is ongoing and sustained, even when the going gets rough.
  7. We will recognize our role is a subordinate role. Voluntary submission will be necessary. (That word obey. . .)
  8. We will defend the man’s right to lead. We will not allow others to tear down his efforts to lead.

D. We will realize and accept that men must learn how to lead. We will rejoice in our men’s efforts as they learn how to lead. (God-given roles are a lifetime effort of fine-tuning and adjusting, and commitment for both men and women.)

E. We will endure, whether the leadership is wise or foolish. We will not automatically replace our role of helper with a leadership role. Even a poor leader, even a wicked leader will benefit from the wisdom of a woman who remains within her role. Read the story of Abigail concerning her wicked husband (1 Sam.25). She saved her husband’s life, and those of her household, yet her attitude continued in the role of a suitable helper.

Conclusion:
Let us stop making excuses for how we think and act concerning leadership and submission. We do not have the right to fight righteous choices by the God of heaven. May we fall on our knees, repenting of resistance and outright disobedience toward our fathers, husbands, the leadership of men in congregations, and the men who lead our country.

HOME CONTROL

A daughter wore a skimpy skirt one morning and her father told her to go and take it off that it was too short. 👉

She walked to the room and reported her father to her mother 😳.

“Mummy daddy said that I should take off this skirt”.🤷🏻‍♂

Her mother replied “is this like a report or what? ☹️ YETUNDE! that was an instruction and it needed an immediate action, so go and take it off immediately”

She quietly walked away and complied. 😞

  1. Dad / Mum, please turn them back when they are reporting either of you to the other.
  2. Let them know instructions from any parent are not reportable.
  3. As a parent, do not summon your partner to find out whether the report was true or not.
  4. Do not tell your partner he/she was wrong before your child/children.
  5. If you see no reason why such instructions were given, conclude it with your partner in secret and let same person correct it.
  6. If you did not give him/ her a punishment, let the one who gave it do the release and if the person is not around and you can’t reach on phone (try and do the call before the child if possible) then release the child when appropriate and tell him/her that it is with the permission of your husband or wife. Both of you are same.

  1. Let us do this together so we train and raise godly children properly.

Contentment

Forgiveness is not optional


Even though sometimes forgiving some people might be very difficult because of the depth of pain they have caused us; we should always remember that forgiveness is not an option.



Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you”. (Colossians 3:13, NIV)


As we have received forgiveness from God, we should in the same way be willing to forgive others.

True Repentance


God does not allow unregenerate sinners to do as they will… live as they please, and still go free. – Ben Mitchel


Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. (Jeremiah 14:10|KJV)


If God will reward you for good done, He will not overlook the sin that you refused to repent of too. All He wants is your genuine repentance. Can you now pray for repentance and commitment?

National Repentance

National repentance and transformation must start from God’s people. God’s people should repent from their sins and wickedness. There is no doubt that our land is very sick, yet God is saying the solution is not in the hands of politicians but the Church.



If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14|KJV)

Do you want God to heal this land and your life? Turn to Him in repentance today.

Wisdom for Leaders

The wisdom of any leader is in transparency and fairness of his/her judgment. Christian leaders must say to the Lord, give me the determination to be fair in all cases that I must decide aside sentiment, and be transparent and fair in all matters involving judgment.


Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3 ESV)

God gives second chances


Listen and God will forgive you and blot your sins away; and will give you the power of the Holy Spirit to live a new life. God gives second chances. He is reaching out to you again to give you another chance to repent. It may be too late for you to repent. God will forgive you and restore you again. But if you continue to disobey and live in sin, God’s anger will descend on you like king Manasseh. That could be fatal. Don’t take God’s grace for granted. Rev. Uche Ikpa.

You Reap What You Sow


A farmer who planted good seed is expected to reap something during harvest, not the same quantity he planted but multiple folds of what he planted


The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred. (Hosea 9:7|KJV)


Friend, what are you sowing? Be aware that you are going to reap what you are sowing in multiple folds. If you sow deceit, lies, cheating, sexual promiscuity, hatred, murder and so on you will surely reap appropriate reward in no distant time. God will repay you with the same measure. Therefore, sow righteousness so that you can reap mercy

Your week is blessed

Hearing From God?

As a Christian, how often do you hear from God? How much of God’s instructions do you obey? Is God still speaking to you like before or you are not hearing from Him again? Be sincere with yourself. If you have lost touch with Him go back now, He is merciful and compassionate, He will restore you.

Who is Your Friend,?

Friends are valuable asset


Friends are necessary in our lives. the importance of friends can not be overemphasized. But who is your friend? a friend that lead you to Christ, growth and godly character or a friend that lead you away from Christ or ungodly character?


Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there aren’t some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame (1 Corinthians 15:33-34)

Check yourself today and see if there are friends influencing you negatively.
Ask God to separate you from such friends before it is too late.

Don’t give up


What we seem to be losing now cannot be compared to the reward that is prepared for us. What the wicked seem to be enjoying now should not entice us to join their sinful lifestyle.


At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD. (Zephaniah 3:20|KJV)


Are you trying to change your stand because you think you cannot cope with the challenges you are facing now? Don’t do that. Hold on to the end.

God’s steadfast love


God may not give answer to some of our

Not Unclean

Outward conformity is not the same as inner transformation. A person cannot be said to be truly clean if he is not clean within. Can you do a proper checking of your heart today?

Give It ALL to Jesus

Don’t be Judgemental


It is your attitude in life that will determine your altitude. Break away from all self-imposed limitations and embargoes. Quit complaining


And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. (Acts 10:28|KJV)


Free yourself from procrastination. Just witness Christ. Don’t be selective or judgmental. Christ died for all, even the worst sinner, so do not deny the people around you the privilege of hearing the message of salvation.

Get rid of sinfulness

God does not and cannot
work or walk among sinful people who have
not separated themselves unto Him. There
must be a distinction between the people of
the world and the people of God. Light and
darkness do not have anything in common;
the same thing goes for the children of God
and the children of this world.

Surrender to Jesus?

How you treat people

Relating with people based on their social status is an indication of faithlessness; those who know God treat people as God would treat them. – Author Unknown

How do we treat the poor in our midst? How do we relate with someone whose lifestyle is characterised by truthfulness? Do we commend them or see them as going beyond bounds? Do we not demand bribe before rendering help to fellow believers? The truth is until the church begins to model the life of the kingdom to the society, unrighteousness will continue to thrive unabated.

Christianity


Going to church does not make you a Christian; nor does saying a prayer, going down an aisle, passing a catechism, telling yourself that you are, or trying to be a decent person. You can only be a Christian if Christ is in you, which can be tested and proven according to the scriptures.


And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26|KJV)


A Christian  is a new  man and  a man  with  the mind  of Christ not  by name.

Wisdom


Wisdom helps us see things beyond the present into the future. With wisdom you can weigh your options well and make a right choice. The only way to get hold of this wisdom is by fearing the Lord. To fear the Lord is to pay attention to His instructions and this will in turn earn you wisdom.


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7|KJV)


As God’s children, our decisions should be guided by God’s wisdom, especially when it comes to forming associations. We should allow the wisdom of God to guide us in choosing friends and partners that will add value to our lives and not lead us astray. As you go out today, let God’s wisdom guide all your decisions.

Don’t stay in that valley of despair and depression. Don’t allow what people say to control you. You control your own destiny. Maybe everyone isn’t going to be thrilled about you. But God is. You are who God created you to be. And God likes you just fine. He’s thrilled about you! Brenda Thomas

Faithfulness

It is not acceptable to the Lord for anyone to be unfaithful, whether such a person is being watched or not. A Christian who is not faithful does not belong to the Lord because if he or she is, then he or she would know that the Lord is, then he or she would know that the Lord sees everything. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. (Matthew 24:45-46|KJV)



If unfaithfulness is found in anyone, it is a sin to be repented of and forsaken. Every day should be a day to be faithful.

God will reward everyone for what is done on earth, not just a particular time or day. Hence, it pays to be faithful in all things at all time.

The Race

So I run the race straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I am not like a boxer who misses his punches.- Apostle Paul.

God is Just

God is upright and faithful

God is a just God. He deals with people with equity; He is not partial in His judgment. He allows both the wicked and the righteous to continue in their deeds and then rewards each accordingly.



When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. (Psalms 75:2|KJV)





As you go out today, live with the consciousness that God is watching whatever you do – good or bad.

The psalmist reminded the wicked of the fact that God holds in His hands a cup full of His wrath and it is meant for those who do wickedly (Psalm 75:8).

God does not exalt His mercy at the expense of His justice. And in order to maintain His justice, all sin without exception must be punished.

God’s Hedge


There is a natural hedge of protection around God’s people, which can only be removed by them. Yes, you are the only one who can remove that hedge through sin. Even Satan does not have power to remove it.


I from now on will also not drive out from before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died. (Judges 2:21)


To keep God’s hedge around you, you need to keep a constant fellowship with Him through the spiritual disciplines of prayer, Bible study, holy living, and doing His will.

The Scripture says, “…whoever breaks an hedge the serpent shall bite him” (Ecclesiastes 10:8). Unforgiveness, backsliding, disobedience can make us lose God’s protection around us, and it is a dangerous thing to lose it.

The fullness of God

As a child of God, you must always bear it in mind that God has placed you in His kingdom for a purpose; you are expected to be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The Day of Joy

Every man on earth desires joy, not sadness. We all detect sorrow. A joyous heart rejoices and feel good. But joy that is not from Jesus remains transient.

To have a joyous faith, you need a real encounter with Jesus. You need to admit where you have fallen short of God’s expectations.

Worshiping in Faith

Singing faith has to do with rejoicing to declare the greatness of God.

Praising and worshiping the Almighty comes from such a faith even when one’s expectation has not been sighted. It is obvious that wherever a singing faith operates, God Himself is provoked to prove that He is God.


Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done this wonderful thing. (Isaiah 44:23, NIV)


You can boost the singing faith in you today. Build up such a faith, regardless of intimidations, lack, storms of life around you, and frustrate the token of liars, make diviners mad and confound the wise.

The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin

Repent and be saved

God is a faithful and merciful God. Whenever people genuinely turn away from their evil ways, He is always willing to forgive them.


And God saw their works that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” (Jonah 3:10, NIV)


In Christ there is limitless forgiveness of our sins. There is always joy in heaven over a sinner that repents

It is a great disaster to die a sinner, ask for the mercy of God to cleanse you of your sins today.

Remember He sent His begotten Son to pay the price for our sins and transgressions. John 3:16

Pray this short prayer with me; Lord Jesus, i realised i have sinned and come short of Your glory, please forgive me of all my secret sins, let my name be written in the book of life, thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen

JESUS PAID THE PRICE WE COULD NOT PAY

Jesus my SAVIOUR


The price of our redemption was high.
We never could have redeemed
ourselves with corruptible things such
as silver and gold. Only through the
shed blood and broken body of Jesus
Christ could eternal life be obtained for
us.
Yes, The price was high, but Jesus paid it all!

Jesus was born into this world with a mission:
He was born to die. Jesus’ death on the Cross
was not only divinely appointed, it was
necessary, for a great price had to be paid to
redeem us from sin.
In the natural, thinking about death makes
us uncomfortable. Why? Because we weren’t
created to die; we were created to live
eternally. But when Adam disobeyed God,
death entered the world (Rom 5:12). So God
sent Jesus to die on the Cross to restore us to
life.
While Jesus was on the earth, He kept the
Law and boldly proclaimed the Gospel, yet
He still had to suffer and die. Jesus’ death
could be seen as the greatest injustice ever
known to mankind. He didn’t deserve to die;
He died because, as Isaiah said, “the Lord
laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isa. 53:6).
Jesus endured the agony of the Cross so you
and I could be washed clean and set free
from sin.
Second Corinthians 5:21 tells us what Jesus
suffered on the Cross for us: ” For He HATH
MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew
no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him. ” I don’t
know that we could ever fathom the depth of
those words, but I thank God for them!
Jesus never sinned, yet He became a sin
offering for us and died a sinner’s death.
When Jesus lived on the earth. crosses were
used for capital punishment of the most
wicked criminals. But because of Calvary, we
as believers can look at the Cross in the light
of God’s Word through the eye of faith. And
instead of seeing a hideous instrument of
penalty and punishment for crime, we behold
a beautiful, visible symbol of God’s great love
for us!

Saved by His precious blood


The Cross does represent God’s wrath and
punishment for sin, but it also proclaims His
love for the world. Someone might say,
“That’s a paradox! The Cross can’t stand for
both punishment and love at the same time!”
But it does and it always will! Out of love for
us, Jesus bore the punishment for our sin.
Jesus paid the price that we could not pay.
There is nothing we could have ever done to
gain citizenship in Heaven. But because
Jesus Christ became our substitute on the
Cross at Calvary, we who believe in Him have
been brought into the Kingdom of Heaven
and loosed from the chains of sin, sickness,
poverty, and spiritual death!
What happened on the Cross is a reality. It’s
not a myth or a fairy tale, as some people
would like us to believe. The Cross stand in
the midst of human history as a warning to
those who refuse to believe the Word of God.
It also stands as a blessing to those who
recognize it as the supreme revelation of
God’s grace.
When God looked down from “Heaven’s
Courtroom” at our sinful state, we didn’t
receive justice; we received grace and
mercy. If we had received justice, we would
have paid the price instead of Jesus’ paying
it.
In earthly courtrooms, many people stand
before a judge and throw themselves on the
mercy of the court. The judge can either be
lenient and show them mercy, or he can be
severe and sentence them to the fullest
extent of the law. The out come depends on
the judge presiding over the case.
I thanks God that I can stand unafraid before
the Judge of all mankind, because He has
already extended mercy to me! Because I
have accepted that mercy, I now legally
stand before Him pure and clean by the
blood of Jesus.
Some people want to wait until Judgement
Day to ask for God’s mercy. But right now is
the time for them to accept the offer of
mercy that God has extended. Then they can
know where they will spend eternity before
they ever stand before His throne.
God showed you mercy when He offered you
eternal life through Christ’s death on the
Cross. I’m not saying that your body received
eternal life; it’s the real you — your spirit —
who received eternal life.
The moment you accept the shed blood and
broken body of Jesus Christ as atonement for
your sins, you become a new creature in
Christ; you pass from death unto life (1 John
3:14)
You’ll still look the same way you did before
you accepted Christ because your salvation
has nothing to do with your physical body.
However, it has everything to do with the
real man who lives on the inside. The Apostle
Paul said it this way: “I have been crucified
with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ
lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME” (Gal. 2:20 NIV).
We can live eternally because Jesus bore our
sins when He laid down His life for us (John
10:11,15). To better understand the
significance of the transferral that took place
on the Cross, we should go back and study
what the prophet Isaiah had to say about it.
First, let’s look at how Isaiah described the
glory of Jesus’ birth.
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is
give, and the government will be on his
shoulders. And he will be called
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Now contrast Isaiah’s account of Jesus’ birth
with his graphic description of Jesus’ death.
Isaiah understood that man faced the vexing
problem os sin, and he understood that God
was going to send the Messiah. But he also
received a revelation that the Messiah would
become the sin offering for mankind. In
Isaiah 53, he spoke of Jesus’ agony and
crucifixion as if the coming events had
already happened.
Isaiah 53:3-6

a man of sorrows, and familiar with
suffering. Like one from whom men hide
their faces he was despised, and we
esteemed him not.
4 Surely he took up our infirmities and
carried our sorrows, yet we considered
him stricken by God, smitten by him,
and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our
transgressions, he was crushed for our
iniquities; the punishment that brought
us peace was upon him, and by his
wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and THE LORD HAS LAID ON HIM THE
INIQUITY OF US ALL.
Isaiah’s prophecy tells us that our sins were
laid upon or transferred to Jesus. That
glorious transferral was reflected in the
symbolic exchange that took place every
year on the Day of Atonement. In the Book of
Leviticus, God gave Aaron, God’s anointed
priest, specific instructions regarding the
ceremonial atonement for the sins of the
Israelites on that day.
Aaron would select two goats and present
them before the Lord at the entrance to the
Tent of Meeting. Then he cast lots for the two
goats — one for the Lord and the other for the
scapegoat. The goat whose lot fell to the Lord
was sacrificed as the sin offering. The other
goat, the scapegoat, was kept alive to make
atonement for the people by symbolically
taking away their sins. (Lev. 16:7-10).
The goats that were selected had to be free
of any kind of blemish or defect. The priests
could never offer to the Lord a sacrifice that
was imperfect. The goat for the sin offering
was slain, and its blood was sprinkled on the
mercy seat and the altar. The body of the
goat was then burned outside the camp.
Next, the priest laid his hands on the
scapegoat and confessed over it the sins of
the Israelites, laying the people’s guilt on the
scapegoat. Then the scapegoat was led away
and turned loose in the desert, removing the
sins of the Israel from their camp.
The Israelites had to go through that ritual
every year to atone for their sins. But, thank
God, at the proper time there came a
spotless Lamb! This Lamb was perfect
because He did not come from the loins of a
man. Through the Holy Spirit, Many
conceived, and the perfect sacrificial Lamb
came into the earth (see Luke 1:26-35)
Over the years, the blood of many bulls,
lambs, and goats was shed to cover sin. But
finally, once and for all, the blood of the
Lamb of God was shed for the remission of
sin (Matt. 26:28)! Jesus Christ became our
sin offering and our scapegoat! Today we can
enjoy God’s Presence and His peace because
Jesus took our iniquity away from us (John
1:29). Jesus chose to become the supreme
sacrifice by dying on the Cross so that we
could have life and have it more abundantly!
I realize it’s difficult to fully comprehend all
there is to know about the price Jesus paid
for us. But thank God that Jesus was willing
to pay the price!
What’s even more difficult for us to
understand is the kind of love that compelled
God to sacrifice the life of His Son for us. God
so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that you and I might believe in
Him and receive eternal life (John 3:16).
Thank God for the Cross! Thank God for the
Lamb who was slain! Thank God for His great
plan of redemption!
I dare say we will not have the full
understanding of what happened as a result
of the shed blood and broken body of Jesus
Christ until we arrive in Heaven and see for
ourselves what the Apostle John saw in a
vision on the isle of Patmos.
Revelation 7:9-10
9 After this I looked and there before
me was a great multitude that no one
could count, from every nation, tribe,
people and language, standing before
the throne and in front of the Lamb.
They were wearing white robes and
were holding palm branches in their
hands.
10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God, who sits
on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
I belive that we will only begin to fully
comprehend the magnitude of God’s love
and forgiving power when we stand with
people from every nation and tongue before
His throne. With the Lamb of God seated at
His right hand. Only then will we begin to
gain a full appreciation of the great price
Jesus paid.
The goat whose blood was shed on the Day
of Atonement could never come back to life,
and the scapegoat was turned loose in the
desert, never to be seen again. But the
sacrificial Lamb of God lives forevermore!
As Jesus hung on the Cross, blood flowed
from the stripes on His back. Blood flowed
from His head, pricked by the crown of
thorns, and from His hands and feet, pierced
by the cruel nails. The Jesus looked toward
Heaven and said, “It is finished.” His head
sunk to His chest, and He died (John 19:30).
The curtain in the temple that separated the
Holy of Holies from the Holy Place was torn in
two from top to bottom (Matt. 27:51; Mark
15:38).
Then Jesus’ friends took His broken body off
the Cross and placed Him in the tomb. But on
the third morning, Jesus Himself came forth
from the tomb alive with the keys of death,
hell, and the grave.
Today we celebrate the fact that Jesus took
our place on the Cross. To some, the Cross is
a hideous object of disgrace. But to the
children of God, it is a precious reminder of
God’s mercy and love, because it was there
that Jesus’ blood flowed, and the price for the
remission of sin was paid.
Through the blood of Jesus, we are set free
from sin and can receive abundant life,
health, and prosperity. No other blood, no
other lamb, and no other offering for sin
could have provided that for us. Now we can
rejoice, knowing that all the blessings God
has promised in His Word are available to us
— because Jesus paid the price we could not
pay!

A repentant sinner adds value to the kingdom of God, and heaven could not but rejoice.

Be Perfect

demonstrated by how much we fear Him.
God is interested in the fact that we fear
(reverence) Him and obey His Word.
